Mayflower Village is going to be located on the backside of Deer Valley Resort® adjacent to the gated Deer Crest subdivision- overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir. The village plan shows a mix of ski-in ski-out homes as well as stacked condominiums and condominium hotels. The Resort Village will include renowned hotel brands including a five-star hotel and a four-star hotel along with over 60,000 square feet of conference space. A grand opening for winter operations is anticipated for December 2024. Extell is hopeful to have several lodges including commercial open. Eight lifts are proposed for phase 1.

Mayflower Resort will be the first new ski resort in North America since 1981. Mayflower Mountain Resort will offer over 4,300 skiable acres of mostly north-facing ski terrain along with 15 proposed ski lifts and 1 gondola. Phase 1 will include 8 lifts. That is twice the size of Deer Valley.
Extell and Deer Valley are still negotiating whether Deer Valley Resort® will be managing Mayflower Resort. As we mentioned before, Deer Valley Resort is currently leasing their 2,000 acres from Extell and one of the Mayflower lifts will connect to Sultans Nose in Deer Valley. Rumors say that a possible connection to Silver Lake Village is being discussed as well.
Mayflower Resort will be comprised of three hotel properties, 1,600 residential units as well as 250,000 square feet of commercial space. The first developments have been released and are available for reservation. Available for purchase now is Marcella Ski & Golf, a gated community with prime ski lots and ski access to the base area. Velvaere, is a unique Wellness & Outdoor community with ski-in ski-out access. Velvaere offers 115 luxury homes, cabins, and townhomes with state-of-the-art wellness features in each residence. Also available for reservation are 55 private residences at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley.
Mayflower Mountain Resort is located an easy 40-minute, highway-only, drive from Salt Lake International Airport; and a 20-minute drive from the private airport in Heber City. While there won’t be a need to leave the resort, both Park City and Heber City can be reached in less than 10 minutes. Watersport activities are available at Jordanelle Reservoir. A small golf academy and an equestrian center are going to be available at SkyRidge. The greater Park City area offers some of the highest density of championship golf courses in the country.
